I'll introduce myself as I picked up a bit of a project but I really like the look of this old boat.. nice lines on this boat IMHO. Got it at give away price as engine is not starting.. but it turns over freely I think it may just be a spark issue. Here begins the money pit. I'll warn you I'll have questions as this is my first (motor) boat and I'd rather not pick up a new motor for $14,000.

It appears I can't upload a photo here like on Pelican parts for the p-cars forum. it's a 1980 thunderbird formula one with Johnson 140

Several other topics there you may find useful. such as "Awakening a sleeping Outboard"

You can upload photos as attachments (see FAQ above) or you can link to photos on Photobucket etc

you can up load to a free service like photobucket.com then you choose the pictures you want( clik the little box at the bottom left of the picture) scrool to the bottom of the page, clik generate html, it will take you to the next page, scroll down to thumb nails clik on that and copy, then insert it into your post.

also if you are planing on posting pictures, you can use the Blue post reply or the go advanced, manage attachments, there you can upload , directly from your computer. besure you pictures have been resized to fit the format. 640x480 max.
