As the proud new owner of an '88 190V, I have some questions for those of you much more experienced in the art of Celebrity ownership. It's equiped with 5.0LX Mercruiser and for my first powerboat, I couldn't be prouder.
My boating experience thus far is with other's boats and a sixteen foot flat bottom for running in shallow Iowa rivers.
Questions#1 - I'm missing a piece of rub trim from the starboard rear corner. It looks to be a large aluminum corner but I'd like to know if anyone knows where I can obtain replacement?
Question#2 - While checking to see if I had coutesty lights, I stumbled upon a black box under the starboard dash, on the inner wall. It appears to have a white adjustment screw similar to a clock. I has several different wires runnig out of it but I haven;t traced them all yet. Does anyone know what this may be or what it may adjust? Possilbe guage "zero"?
