Ditto. I watched it last and thought what a great deal. My wife was ebaying last night and saw all these boats in my watch list. She knows another one is coming home sooner or later.

From one "Michigan Man" to another, welcome to the Starmada. Great boats and great guys here to talk to. Enjoy!

Re: New Owner!!

You realize that CMC tilt unit on there is worth $400 by itself right? You stole that rig. Welcome to the Starmada!! That's a great boat and motor. Should do around 40MPH. Nice!

WOW I knew that the trim and tilt unit wasn't cheap but I had no clue 400 bucks! WOW I hope she does 40!!, that would be great I just want a nice fish and ski.. maybe a lil more ski than fish.

Thanks guys I felt like it was a good deal, but its great to hear it from knowledgeable guys that it was a definite good buy. I had the little misses read your replies to prove my point that it was a good buy ;) thanks for thehelp on that end also.

Re: New Owner!!

Dear Mrs Fj, This letter is in regard to the recent purchase of a 16 foot Starcraft by youre husband. In our honest opinion, we have determined he has acquired a boat more than worthy of being a member of our group. He had purchased this boat for $861.00 and the motor alone is worth that amount. When you add all the additional options he had acquired with the boat, he has approximately 2-3k that he could make should he decide to sell or part out. That being said, DO NOT allow him to sell it!! It will take some additional money to make the boat "your own" but the joy and fun you will share is priceless. Please stay on his arse and give him heck when it seems he is not doing his full promisary duty to this boat. It should be re-done, to both of youre satisfaction, and enjoyed. If we can be of any help in this endevour, of course, you and he are welcome and encouraged to simply ask.

Did that help ya FJ?
Nuttin I wont do for a Starcraft Brother:eek:

Re: New Owner!!

:) thats was perfect!! Absolutely perfect! fshngo, I got home from work and read her that message while she was getting ready. And now I think she might be more excited for the drive down to pick it up than me! I'm going to start a restoration thread soon I have saved a ton of pictures from others work that I feel I want to integrate into the boat. Work this week wont let me get to Indiana to pick her up until either Fri or Sund depending on the sellers schedule. Its not going to get here soon enough!

Re: New Owner!!

Welcome to the Starcraft armada:)

I bought nearly the same rig last year, including CMC bracket and 80hp for $1000 so I say you have done very well. You even got a Johnnyrude and bow-mount too, way to go.

Those PT-130 brackets go for $560 brand new. They are very well made and almost maintenance free. Good luck with the project:D
