I had a 91 150 force. It was a very good running , quiet, smooth motor. Power was known to be overstated. Only problem was a failed powerpack. Poor design small lower unit only takes 13.25" - 13.5" props. Not large enough dia for a big boat. My holeshot was terrible, and boat could refuse to get on plane with a bow high attitude in waves, even though it would run 39mph in flat water. The sucker..er person I sold it too told me he actually couldnt get on plane one day offshore with 4 adults onboard. <br /> Actually, I was told the 150 was one of the best running motors made by Force. I was also told that there were some main bearing and water jacket problems that would make it not worth rebuilding. I dont know if that was true or not, I didnt experience any problems like that.
