new piston - 1967 33hp 33752c

I'm looking for a new or usable piston for the above motor - anyone have any parts laying around for one of these old twins?<br /><br />loupis

I believe that new pistons are available for that engine from your Johnnyrude dealer.

If you can't find them, go to ishopmarine.com and click "parts lists," then drill down to the 1968 33 hp model and see those pistons. I'm certain they are the same as those for the 1967 33hp.<br /><br />Standard size pistons are about $107 each. Rather high, but there it is.

Sorry...the part number for the standard piston is 0380566. That might help you when you call the local Johnnyrude dealer.

well, ishop didn't have them - though their website said they did. I found a new set on the shelf at Stone and Sons Marine in Texas for $148.00 a piece. (ouch but they are on the way!!)<br /><br />thx again<br />loupis
