I replaced fuel pump and rebuilt carbs about a month ago. Ran really good. Took it out Friday and didn't want to crank. Electric choke is closing, but would not crank. I finally tried manual choke and it fired up and ran perfect the rest of the day. Took it out this morning same thing used manual choke it cranked and ran fine for about 30 min. I was running up the lake at WOT and it just shout down. I tried to crank it and it would barely turn over like it had a dead battery, but battery had good charge. It sat for about 3 or 4 min then turned over fine and fired up. Took it a few seconds to get it on plane but It ran fine after that. Any suggestions?

The shut down was not battery related. The engine doesn't need it in order to run. You very likely had an overheat condition. Is your warning horn working? Water pump impeller been replaced lately? Thermostat sticking? It turned over hard because the engine was tight -- just short of seizing.
