New Project Boat

Hey guys this is my first boat and my first post here at iboats.com. I just purchased a 1982 WellCraft 175 Bowrider from my Service Manager at work. The boat is in overall good shape and runs great. Has a soft spot in the back near the gas tank and needs to be replaced. Should I just replace it or is it possible to do a fiberglass floor?

soft spot in stern is probably rot, replace also check the transom for rot, they ususally go hand and hand.

patch work will only be temporary! do the whole floor! and like tashasdaddy said check the transom.
