Anyway some quick input My prior factory prop was a 13x17 aluminum prop... I found a New stainless prop from michigan wheel house from a guy on ebay .. the New prop was 13 1/4 x 15 pitch that was repitched to a 17 ... The old prop had the boat at top speed of 32 to 35 mph and my Max rpm at 5100 to 5200 in all different trim positions.. I put the new prop on and tested it... My new numbers are as follows max speed 38 mph and Max rpm 5800 I didnt run it long as this motor is at max at 5800 rpms So my quick ? is .... Can i put those Plane Wings on the lower unit even though i dont have a problem planning the boat... But i Heard they will lower the engine rpms Just a bit.. Maybe enough where im more confortable with... What do you guys thing.. the motor again is 88 year 85 hp Thanks everyone in advance...
