We took one of my new props and one of my guys put a Satin finish on it except for the blade faces that I had him polish. We also added a little more cup and put a knife edge on the trailing edge you can cut paper with.

We generally sharpen the leading edge rather than the trailing edge. What was the theory of a sharp trailing edge, just curious? On race props we have put a satin finish on the blades and found that in some cases it will help hold water which increases bite / reduces slip. Where was the additional cup added?
