New prop on my '62 rude 10HP

I just got a new aluminum Michigan Match prop for my motor and I have a few questions about proceeding with installation, I removed what was left of the old plastic prop (the hub only) and noticed that the pin that goes through the shaft is slightly bent. I believe this pin would have bent when I hit the rock which destroyed my old prop.

Where do I find a replacement pin for this, can I use anything, or should this be a special type of pin that will shear if I were to impact something else?

If I were to hit another rock, knock on wood, would I completely lose the prop again, or is it designed to shear that pin and save the prop and lower end?

Thanks!

The motor uses a 3/16 X 1 3/16 stainless drive pin.omc part number 203663.
The prop should have a cushioning hub as well.
Depending on the strike your new prop will hold up much better than a composite
prop. The pin and hub will help a lot. You'll want to carry a couple of spare pins
and cotter pins for the nut, if any.
