New Prop or Old prop, that is the question . . .

I have a 1962 40hp johnson with a stock prop. it mounted on a fiberglass 13' 7" closed bow boat. I want to be able to pull a water skier. my question is should I stick with the stock prop, get a vented prop, or get a ported prop? any ideas?

Bob - I have skiied behind less than 40hp before.

Try it with your current (stock) prop and see what results you get and take it from there...
