I have been in the market for a new boat for the past 4-5 months and finally settled on a Lund Rebel 1725 with dual consoles.

I did find out that it is very hard to get any kind of boat pricing and spec?s while trying to decide on size, motors, etc. Tracker does have the best web site. You can look up a boat and check price, speed vs motor size and cost. Alummcraft has a section that shows boat performance with different motors. All good information if you are in the market for a new boat. I could find nothing that came close for Lund boats and the dealer did not freely give out info. Maybe Lund should hire the tracker web guy.

So, If anybody is looking at getting a 1725 rebel with dual console and a 75 Mercury 4-stroke here is some performance numbers.

Two full figured people.
Prop, Vengeance 48-16988, 18P (13? 18P )

Idle about 2.5 MPH forward
1.5 MPH reverse.
Takes over 3200 ? 3400 to keep boat on plane and about 17-18 MPH
4000 RPM is about 25 MPH
5000 RPM is just over 30 MPH
WOT is usually around 5600 + RPM and 38+ MPH
I did get 39 MPH and about 5700 RPM on hitting the trim perfit.

RPM was from the tech installed in the boat.
Speed from GPS (Boat speed was 7-10% high)
Weather 30/30 ( 30 degrees / 30 MPH winds ) We did get better weather the second day.
Elevation 560 feet

If I ever buy a new prop looks like I need to go down about an inch in pitch
Also I noticed if I was trying to trim for highest RPM/speed at WOT, the boat would porpoise a little if I dropped back to 4 ? 5000. Trimming back in just a little would clean the boat up

Be nice if there was a spot that owners could post performance info. If I missed it, let me know
