Where is the best place to get a rebuilt 350? Went to Rapido, price and warranty looks good just looking for reviews.

Got 1 thru advance auto

Its a Marshall, called a first mate

2 yr lim. warrenty w/labor credit
4 bolt main/ HD timing chain

advance also price matched with one of there competitors.
You'll have to work that out for youself.

It sure seems good got maybe 75 hrs. on her

The engine pictured above is a brand new engine from Chevy. It is part #10067353. If you Google that part number you will find all kinds of dealers that you can purchase one from. You can pick one up for around $1,300 give or take. This would be a great engine IF you have an existing marine engine that you are replacing. You can take all the externals off and put them on this engine and you are good to go.

Must have missed this in the reply with the picture.

It is part #10067353. If you Google that part number you will find all kinds of dealers that you can purchase one from.

Also note. It's an automotive engine, not marine. Wrong cam, wrong core plugs, and if they use other than composit or marine gaskets, the wrong head and intake manifold gaskets for raw water cooled engines.

If I had to do it over again, I might have looked into the HT383..........if $$$ wasn't an issue.

When I repowered I went with a new GM marine base from Bayshore power. I noticed they have remans as well...

If you search, you'll find hours of info on rapido and jasper...

Yea I am....that's why I'm not gonna put a used motor or an AUTOMOTIVE engine in my boat. I've searched tons around the internet, just learning the search function of the forum

I think the engines you're being shown are truck engines..............and with the proper marine "bolt-ons" they would work just fine.........

Am I correct guys?

It seems there's a debate about this issue. I'm being told both, but I'm finding that there's not much difference in price. I just like to learn things the right way the first time.
