I am in the process of making new foam seat backs for my boat a Fiberglass Tri hull (1978 sea sprite). My boat didnt have any of the seat backs on it when I bought it. So i am trying to figure out how to attach them so you can not see the bolt, screw, rivet.
I would like to use the current holes in the boat to attach new back pads. How did they do it? looks like rivet holes to me but how do they get the covered seat back pad on without seeing it from the outside?
Also I cannot get under the front seats so bolts are not going to work(cant believe they made this boat with no way up under into the front two seat pads or to get access to the front bow loop (as i would like to tighten it)
thanks guy!!!!
