The prior owner of my boat took out the driver and passenger "lounge seats." He replaced the original seats with an ice chest on the passenger side, and a pole seat on the drivers side. I'd like to go back to the originals, any advice on where to find the seats I'll need?

Re: New seats

have 'em right here on iboats! These are really common, actually.

I replaced them in my old boat though I bought mine locally. Is your floor completely flat where they are to be mounted? My floor was flat in tthe center of the boat, but then angled upward towards the gunnels. This required me to cut the bases down on the outside edge of them. If this is the case for you, be careful not to use a seat with a plastic base. They are not able to be modified (at least the ones I found).

Good luck!

Check Cabela's also. Among all the suggestions, you'll probably find a color that suits your purposes. There are differences in the size and construction, probably a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal, although I've bought the cheapest kind and they worked fine.

Re: New seats

I'm gonna Piggy back this post. I have a lounge seat on the drivers and passengers side. I want to put a captains chair on the drivers side. Before I take out the lounge seat on that side, is it carpeted underneath or will i have some cosmetic work to do?
