Saw a commercial for a new show on Animal Planet called "flippin ships". Looks like it will be pretty cool. Just hope there is a lot of tinnies in it, although watchin the glassers will be a learning experience also.

Maybe they'll have some SC's too, I saw the commercial for Flippin Ships while watching River Monsters. Supposed to be on Friday night, I;m going to tune in.

Hmm, it was alright, good cause for a charity. Light on actual info, big on entertainment value. Impractical upholstry fabric choices though.

Interesting to see how long it runs.

dang i forgot all about it. Ill have to look for it and record it. I guess it would be more entertainment based than actual technique though. that kinda stinks. Years ago I used to get stuck watchin ship shape tv. I half liked it, half didnt.

Nothing against those with alternate lifestyles. My admiral watched it too, just knew not to include me.

I won't say what the Admiral said about BJ, but she didn't watch. And if she did, she has a TV all her own. I forgot about it when I saw the show description. It didn't sound entertaining to me., but I should watch one to make sure.

Yeah when she's demanding I do certain things with her she seems to get way more enjoyment if I'm miserable while doing so... so it goes from the wife to admiral to the commander in chief. I'm just a little swabbie at times.

Anyway where was I? Oh yeah it's on again tonight at 2200.

Well I can't find this show on any of my animal planet channels... It doesn't make any sense to me, but it is nowhere to be found! Is it possible that there are different satellite programming schedules for different regions? I'm in Canada, but you'd think animal planet is animal planet.

hayko it might be different that your way up there. I just caught bits of the rerun with darius rucker, he almost looked like a hostage to an old debt on the show. ( and i do love his music and country) Personally I think there is far more restores on this forum from current and past members that information can be attained from that the new show isnt worth watching. Unless it would be for pure entertainment. Ill keep the season recording, but ill probably forget to check in on it.

Now that you mention it, Darius didn't look comfortable at all, but perhaps he's mostly musician and not a TV show actor at all...

It'll also drive prices for old boats up as people think we should pay handsomely for the priviledge of dragging their neglected and discarded boats home, esp fiberglass boats, like the auction boat Edwin did, that are in need of a full cut/rehab. FYI: the Admiral thinks I pay handsomely every time I do

I caught it last night. Darius didn't look comfortable at all. They threw an 85 HP Rude on the back, I wonder if the little Sea King is rated that high? Did they ever say what she brought at auction?
