New Smokercraft Owner

Hello Everyone,

Just purhcased a 2001 161 Millentia. It's the 1st Smokercraft I've owned. Had a chance to test her on the water this week and I'm very happy with her performance. Boat is in great shape. It was well maintined over the years, that's for sure. Have a Merc 50hp 2 stroke pushing her and it seems to do a nice job. My question is this:

What should we expect from this boat. Both good and bad?

Congrats, looks like it's in great shape

I have a Pro Mag 161 with a 90 Merc 2 stroke. I've heard Smokers like to porpoise even in calm water and can tell you that mine definitely does if the trim isn't just right.
A lot of guys use Trim Tabs to reduce this issue.
