I hate to say it but I have started looking for a new Snow Blower. I like the Husqvarna and Troybuilt because they have lever controlled steering. I have to make it easy for wife and son to operate. Anyone have any info or opinions I would sure apreacite it.

Re: New Snowthrower

I bought my first snow blower last year. It's a Toro 26' with the jotstick chute control, real slick setup. It's so easy and simple to use the wife tried it and now operates it on occassion, she said it was fun and does not take any mussle to use it.

Re: New Snowthrower

Family has had a Toro for years just a 5hp but I prefer it to the inlaws 8hp craftsman. I think it throws the snow better.

The Toro has held up for at least 15 years too. I would give them a good look.

you've got your choice between a tecumseh or briggs for engines if you buy from sears, home depot, menards, they are all the same except for the name. Toro and all the others have there own line and you'll pay more for it.
