Howdy,

I am starting the resto on my '72 14ft Holiday and I'm sure this will only be the first of many posts that I'll make. I will post pics along with questions and more than likely will be begging for help :D

Here is just one the day I picked her up. More to follow

Thanks

And here's the resto ~ tear down thread:

'72 Star Craft 14'ft Holiday - Here we go...

[h=1][/h]Welcome to the iboat's dry dock, Starcraft division. Nice 14ft'r!

You'll need to grab the 16', 18', 20', 22' & a 24' to complete the collection

As a Michigan SC owner, it's almost required that you own more then 1....

MBS strikes 1 in 2 SC owners and the Michigan strain is particularly virulent, and can possibly be fatal, depends on your Admiral's back swing & her access to frying pans

Aye and a mighty fine swing she has, and I surely keep the pans away. Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to the resto and sharing on iBoats. :D

Welcome aboard! Looks like a great project you have there! And yes photo's are critical --- kinda proof that it actually happened if you know what I mean!

Easy JB, don't scare him with talk of MBS. There is an incubation period for the virus. Sometimes up to a year and a half. As far as frying pans go Michigan women are some of the best two handed frying pan swingers in the country. I hear some southern gals can actually swing a pan in each hand.

Little known fact here. Henry Ford was the first with MBS. Yep it started with him. Actually it was cars first then he put an engine in a boat and the rest is history.

Welcome to our little corner of the world. There's a lot of knowledge here to be had for the taking. These guys are pretty great, they'll help you out with your project and keep you going in the right direction. They seem to like questions and pictures. lol

Good luck with your project.

"....... They seem to like questions and pictures. lol" I think that's where the phrase "Food for thought" came from LOL. I'm pretty sure I'll keep 'em fed :)
