New stator and diaphram on 150 Mercury XR2....now no spark!

I was forced to take to shop and had new stator installed, new diaphram and they told me they also set the timing on it. They said they 'lake-tested' it and said I was ready to go. I got to the dock and it was idled'n alot slower than usual. Once past the wake, it came up great, planed out fine and was moving along great, and then opened her up, and it started missing and idled'd down and died. Had to put-put back to dock.

Any ideas anyone?

Take it back to the shop and give them a chance to fix their problem, then get back.
