Come this spring I plan on doing some maintenance on my boat before she gets launched for the season. I have some blisters and hairline cracks in the gelcoat below the water line. I've read about how to repair them. I'm curious to what people suggest I do... Whether to fix the imperfections then restore the finish with Gelcoat or seal with epoxy then use bottom Paint? Can bottom paints be mixed to match the existing gelcoat color? I plan on touching the hull not the whole barrier coat/bottom coat process. So I want it to be a matching color.

Thanks

I wouldn't bottom paint a trailer boat. It's generally ugly, undesirable upon resale, and something that has to be kept up.
