New to forum: steering question

New to the forum and have a question about the steering in my 94 caravelle..took her out and the steering seems hard to turn I thought it would be just like power steering but seems tight in turns and just cruising around...any suggestions?

Can you provide a tad bit more info of what you have. What motor and drive? Do you have power steering, is there a pump?
