Hi everyone, I been following this site since last October when I was able to pick up a 93 Bayliner Capri 1800 w/ Force 120 OB, The family and I been having a blast so far on my local lakes, this forum has gave me a TON of info, truly a very helpfull site, My Capri was in really good shape and the Force had to be rebuilt at sometime since it is nearly spotless when I got it, the boat interior needed a good cleaning (which made a nice difference), seats are original and in pretty good shape for their age, everything works with electrics, the rear deck has a soft spot that will be cut out and a look around (stringers) will be checked out this fall, transom seems solid with no signs of trouble but will check that to in the fall also, I have been around water for the last 16 years with a jet ski but that didn't work to well with 2 kids so this became the right time to upgrade to the boating world and look forward to all the info with you guys.:)

Your family will really enjoy the boat. It's perfect for skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, etc with a small family. My first boat was a 97' Capri 1850 with a Force 120. Never had any problems with it, it ran perfect for 7 years. Only sold it to move up to a bigger boat.

its been a blast so far and the kids love tubing (maybe ski's next year), still figuring out some of the tendencies on the 18 year old engine but so far it hasn't failed us, luckily I have basic engine skills from having a jet ski and old tractor. It also helps we finally have good summer weather so th wife doesn't put up an argument to get out on the lake.
