New to me HTM sr24!!!

I just purchased a 500 hp 502 N/A HTM. 1.50:1 bravo x 4400lbs. It came with a 4 blade bravo 24 pitch 14 7/8 inch. 5200 rpm at 64 mph. 50 gallons of gas and 3 people. I want to lower those cruise rpms and shoot for 70-75 mph. Will a 28 bravo be a pig out of the hole? I should also note that I’m used to a 22 scarab with 550 supercharged hp and it runs a 30 pitch with no problems but it’s much lighter.

Although I admire your ambitions, to see that kind of leap at this end of the speed scale...would require serious HP. I’ve been trying to break 70 for years now. It’s not something that’s easily done.
