I bought this 1979 V20 step-lift after an extensive search for a larger, more bay friendly boat than my old glassmaster runabout. The hull and trailer are in good condition, the motor needs work. It has slight damage (Scoring) to one piston that appears to be from overheat or lean running condition.
I acquired a rebuilt .030 over powerhead for the evinrude 140, so I have to swap the powerheads and fix whatever caused it to overheat in the first place...to be safe I'm rebuilding the whole fuel system, flushing the cooling system and replacing the impeller.
Pending the successful repair of the motor, I also want to...
-Clean up the cuddy
-Add a VHF and Stereo
-Re-wire every thing, new switch panel and dash
-Mount my johnson 8.0 on a kicker mount
-Add LED accent lighting (red of course) to the deck

I also would like to fab and anchor pulpit and have a fixed anchor on a roller with an electric windlass..we'll see if the budget allows

Unfortunatly, I won't get to see her till memorial day weekend due to my being away at school :(
