New to the life of owning a boat. I just bought a boat that needs some work. So I will probably be comming here if I run into problems with the repairs and work needed.

You should let us know where you live, what you have, the age, size, motor, drive, etc. Then we could tell you valuable stuff before you even ask. Go for it.

Welcome aboard cadet:D.

Thank you for your service to this great nation. I was in the Army many moons ago. We all have to take our drop in rank with a smile:). Promotions are a lot easier to get here than in the service.

Lets see some pics of your new boat, lots and lots of pics.

Boat is a Tri-sonic tri hull. Year is a subject of debate but it is either a 79 or 80. 165 horse IB/OB rebuilt. Both motor and lower unit have reciently been rebuilt. Work needed to be done as of now: Fiberglass and epoxy decking. Carpet decking. Padding on front bench seats. Check wiring for running lights. New Battery. Paint interior. Obviously everything but the running lights and the battery can wait. Also this is just what i have seen so far.
