new to site...need help

hey there...this weekend i will be pickin up my new to me 1978 sears 12foot alum v haul i would like to do some things so i have as much room as i can...i bought a small net that folds and would like to put a castin platform with storage under it. if any one has pics or ideas to keep it simple that would be great. thanks a lot guys

Welcome aboard. How about some pics of that boat when you get it. It's hard to picture a casting deck on a 12' aluminum boat. You'd want to keep it low as it'll probably be very light and shaky.

I had a 12 foot aluminum, and it was too small to put a casting deck on and it would add weight. It also was not very sturdy either. I just used it as it was and then bought a bigger boat.
