Hello i'm Dave and i have a 74 19ft Arabian.
This is my first boat, althought my parents always had boats. Now i get to experience the bittersweet sensation of owning and maintaining my own craft.
My girlfriend and I purchased this boat from a local Malibu dealer who took it in on trade. The previous owner was a skier and did alot of restoration work on the paint and interior of this boat. Some things were done well and some were done very half ***. This Arabian is equipped with the chrysler 440 and Paragon v-drive. In the 2 years we've owned it i've rebuilt the sherwood dual impeller twice,(for different reasons). Replaced starboard side exhaust manifold, Had the v-drive case replaced due to a crack(got lucky to find one),
replaced engine oil cooler(was leaking into the water caused the manifold to go bad), rebuilt the distributer, replaced fuel lines with coast guard approved, added fuel filter/water seperator and poder coated the valve covers. I love this boat and future plans include a bimini top and re-upholstering the pad on the back to have vertical stripes rather than the lame wave pattern.
