new to tilt trim

i have a 165 merc with a 2 solenoid setup on the t/t. i have got the hydraulic lines hooked up, but someone has jacked with the wiring setup of it, and i am lost. there are three wires coming from the motor, and 3 wires coming from the switch. i would greatly appreciate anyones help on how to hook up these wires.

What year 165? i6 or 470? If you need actual photos or have questions let me know. I will be working on replacing a hydraulic line this weekend and can gladly help give some detail if needed.

thank you very much for the diagram. i have a problem though. i cant see clearly where those wires are going onto the solenoids. do you have a diagram of that with a little more definition focusing on the solenoids? or maybe a picture of the setup on a boat if that is possible.. thanks for your help
