hello just got a killer deal on a 15' tri-hull w/a 75hp merc,i would like to learn how to wakeboard,i have experience waterskiing,i know that tri-hulls arent the most desirable for this but im not looking to enter in the x-games,just skip across the water, and occasionally pull the kids in the tube, will those 3 post setups work ok for that or do i need a tower....

No, you don't need to have a tower. It makes it a bit easier to get up, but is really for people that want to progress into bigger air tricks (not to mention the added look and value I suppose). If you're just starting out, try it with what you've got. Once you decide it's something you want to do, and start to progress with jumps/tricks maybe look into your options for adding a tower.
