New to Yamaha & 4 stroke.

I have just purchased a 2009 F60TLR. Should I purchase Yamaha brand fuel treatment and ringfree or will aftermarket products be OK? I am thinking along the lines of Stabil and/or Seafoam. It will strictly get non-ethanol.

i have a f 150 and use startron and ring free all year. the ring free works great.before using ring free when i winterize the engine and pulled the plugs there was a light film of carbon on the plugs.now the plugs come out like new.the stuff is cheap enough and is made for the yamaha engines

Good to run the Ringfree and Stabil all the time and be sure to install a fuel/water separator type fuel filter to help keep water/debris/ trash out of those injector screens....
