New u joints bravo lll

Hi all,
I am installing new u joints on a bravo 3 drive (2002). When I push the caps on just enough to get the clip in the joint seems like it is too tight when i swivel it These are the joints with the c clip in a groove on the outside. Is this wrong or is it ok?

Ayuh,... Fresh u-joints will feel vaguely stiff to the hand,....

The clips went in, without a major beating, Right,..??
