New VIP owner

I am new here. I have just purchased a 1991 VIP Vision. I am unsure of the model number but it is a V6, 19ft. I am glad to be a member here. I have noticed one small (or I hope) problem but this could be normal. The steering wheel seems very tight when I try to turn. Is this normal? If not, any suggestions. Hi:
I too have a VIP Vision but a 1990. My son has a 1992 VIP and his steering was stiff also. I can't remember what he found but I do remember it was something they easily fixed. May have replaced a cable or something.
