New Wellcraft Owner Needs Help.

Recently purchased an 87 170 Classic and I need to replace the alternator.
(Sorry no pics yet)
Where can I find a replacement? Any suggestions on brand, model number, etc?

Also there is a trickle of water that seems to be comming form the top of the engine and runs down the side of the block. Any ideas?

Post your question under the inboar/outboard repair section. You will need to specify the model of the engine and such, though.

The website hosting this forum sells parts, that would be a good place to start looking for the alternator. Supporting your local marina or boat retail store might cost you a little more, but you help that guy stay in business that you really might need for that "urgent" part one weekend.
