Hi guys, I'm not ready to do this just yet and haven't researched it yet, but wanted to get some early feedback from some of you guys who may have done this. If I wanted to replace the wiring harness from throttle to motor on my '87 70hp vro, where would I look? Are they even available? Thanks in advance..

What is your motor doing / not doing ?-----Or should I say it is just wires and you can make your own wiring and go to a terminal strip.----No need for the red rubber plug in if you use a terminal strip.

Hey man thanks for the reply.. The motor was actually running just fine w no problems to speak of the last time she ran (8 years ago) electronically, etc. But while stripping my boat down this last month and removing the throttle, I noticed some pretty serious corrosion inside a harness connector plug up by the throttle. Just made me think maybe the rest of the wiring may be questionable..? I DO know that my warning buzzer no longer works and needs replacing (ive seen those on eBay/amazon) but that's it. Maybe the harness is just fine. Also (forgive my lack of knowledge), what is a terminal strip? TIA
