Just bought a 20' pontoon with a 50hp Yamaha. It runs about 17mph. Is that about right? I know there's not much speed, but I just thought there would be more than that. Also, when I'm running full throttle the RPM only registers at 2000 rpm. I've been told that it's supposed to be much higher than that (about 4500 - 5500). Is there a way to set the throttle linkeage? It's a new motor and boat, and the mechanic says that it's the tachometer that's messed up and not the engine running slow. However, he put another temp tach (until another comes in) and I'm still seeing the same reading.<br /> Help please !!!!!!!!!!!!<br /><br /> JerryB
