hello everone on iboat. new to boating and just bought my first boat almost 2 weeks ago. it is a 91 sunbird corsica 198 cobra out drives with the 4.3. from what i have read it is not the most sought after boat lol. here is some pics of the boat. i still would like to now any info that some one know about the sunbird line besides thay are no longer made and are entry level.

Welcome to iBoats! Looks nice. With a boat that age, the name is not all that important. The condition of the boat is much more so. Hope you enjoy it!

Man, don't sweat what some people might think about the make and model. For a boat of that age it makes very little difference. If the type of boat is right, the only thing left is its condition. From the looks of the photos, it looks to be in pretty good shape. Newer carpet & upholstery? As long as that is not hiding some rotted wood and the engine(s) run good, it looks like you are ready for years of fun....assuming regular quality maintenance...

from what i have seen on the internet the interior is all still stock, it has always been Stored inside a heated garage and i will be doing the same.

Nice boat. It's all about prior maintenance. I'd rather have your boat than a Cobalt that had been left open to the elements for years. OMC's aren't bad drives it's just the parts support issues. Enjoy it! and good luck. Welcome to the forum.

runs like a top and all oils have been changed, have had it out 3 times allready, my wife and kids haven a blast with it.
