Newbee need advice!

I'll pick up a 1996 Bayliner 22.5 carbin cruiser with 350/alfa1 tomorrow. This boat haven't been in water for 2 years (winterized 2 years ago) Please let me know what should I do to get ready. Thanks.

I guess you mean get seaworthy ready... We need more information. Location, intended use, gear included, condition of the boat... so on... sorry, or crystal balls are not working tonight!!!

Oil and filter change, drain and replace fuel, replace lower unit lube, check all belts and hoses, check hose clamps, lube cables, do everything just like you would a car that has been sitting for 2 years and are about to go on a long trip.

also from the sticky at the top of the i/o section ya'll find your service manuals for your rig too. get that. there will be a section in the s/m regarding preventative maint. to perform and at what intervals to do them too... check that out..

Read the Winterization thread,+ the Summerization thread....
Then combine the points of Both threads to see where,+ what you should be checking/ changing....
