Newbie help!

I think I have a 1976 4hp. Correct me if I am wrong. the spark plug is connected to the coil right. OK can that coil be weak or will it just be dead? I cannot get this motor to fire at all. The other spark plug is really bright blue. Switched plugs and same. Thanks

When you say you changed the plugs, did you change the wire also? if your getting a good spark on one plug the engine should at least try and fire. Try spraying fuel mix into the cylinders and see if you can get it to at least cough. That might eliminate a few things.

both plugs seem to be damp w/ fuel but I cannot get it to fire.
