Newbie Outdrive Oil ?

I have a 1994 3.0L Volvo Penta GL in a 1994 17' Larson I recently purchased. The manual calls for Volvo Dura Plus GLS Gear case oil, but unfortunately my nearest dealer hasn't been able to get any for over 1-mth. Are there any after-market substitutes that would work just as well?

Bondo, you are lookin for a synthetic or synthetic blend GL-5 rated lube..gotta say GL-5 on it!

Got distracted...was gonna say mercury's high perf lube will do just fine....
