I have Bayliner 18 footer with a 3.0L engine. The engine currently has a Ballasitc 345134 (14 3/8 X 21) prop.

The boat is on a lake with a 45mph limit. I usually have 1 adult and 4 teenages in the boat. We usually tow 1-2 of them.

Here are my questions:

1. Wondering if a larger prop would help me.
2. Would a 4 blade be better?
3. What range of prop would work best for me?
4. Aluminum or stainless?
5. What about a different pitch?
6. What about a manufactor I should be looking at?

I appreciate any help I can get.
