New to boating.. have a 5.7L alpha one 1990. Oil changed/winterized end of 2005 season. Boat not used in 2006, except for the demo trip I took with the owner. The boat was winterized at the end of last year, but no oil change. My questiosn: 1. Should I change the oil again, 1 30 minute trip from 2006. 2. If I change the oil (i'll do myself) do I need to change the oil filter? Not sure if I can do that, in fact, can't even find it! I plan on changing the lower unit oil. Thanks for the help! Water pump/impeller changed end of 2006, so I'm good there. Any other tips appreciated.

I would change the oil & filter.......;)
I would check/change the oil separating fuel filter after an hour or so of running it for the first time.......:)

Also,Standing in the boat looking at the engine the filter should be on the right side at the rear of the block just in front of the bell housing, unless it has a remote oil filter system..
