Hello Everyone.
Just Purchased New 2008 Q4fs Boat (left Over 2008)
Took It In Water And Found Out Stering Locks Up When It Is Turned Al The Way To Left Or Right Having To Wait A Bit To Release Back To Normal.. Any Ideas Someone Told Me It Needs To Be Adjusted

Also Stereo Has Wire For Attenta Is This Correct Bought From Gander Mountain..

Welcome to iBoats!

Congratulations on your purchase. Despite some minor problems we all go through in the beginning I'm sure you'll be happy. The steering does sound like it needs adjusting and some lubricating. The stereo antennae is just wire unless you install an antennae and hook it up. If you're getting all the stations why bother. I rarely listen to my stereo because I want to be able to hear what's going on and the wind "whoosh" by my ears.

Welcome and congrats on your new Tahoe. I was a new (used) '07 Tahoe Q4 owner myself last summer and the family loves it. Sounds like lube, adjustment, or maybe some obstruction. If you purchased it at a dealer, I would take it back and have them check it out.

I think that his steering issue is dependant upon whether he has power steering...or rack and pinion.

If he has power steering, it is not unusual for the pump to have a 'lag'...especially if the steering is run to either limit, and the pump has to unload the excess pressure.
