Hello all,

My name's Pete, and I live in Colorado with my Seaswirl Tempo 17 and a great wife to put up with it :) I'm new to the form, and it looks like there's lotsa good info here but after some searching, I still need to ask you all:

I have a 198? Seaswirl Tempo 17, with a 3.0 OMC outdrive. First I/O boat I've ever had, and yes I have already learned that OMC was probably not the best choice I could have made. My question is, where can I go to get the actual specs for my boat? I mean iboats has some info (some may not be accurate), but I want to know stuff like actual dry weight, physical dimensions, and what year / model I even have. I think I'm pretty close with what I've found on the web, but I sure would like something like the user's manual, and don't know where to go to find one. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I actually asked them already, apparently Striper only makes center consoles under the seaswirl name, or something like that, I don't know how that works. They couldn't tell me anything about a boat that old.
I would have thought that most of those little runabouts were made by the same company anyway, they sure look enough alike. What do I know:)

There is a Seaswirl Owners Club (SOC)Forum on the Web. You might join them and post the question. "seastriper." plus "com/forum" on the end is the URL
