Well, the Bears showed once again how not to win without an offense.

AP with another big day, 212 yds. 294 to beat Dickerson's record. 2 games to make it happen. Teams are keying on him, but still can't contain him.... Needs 2 more big games.... Defense scored, but, let the Rams back in it in the 4th. Still won by 14.

Will be interesting 2 weeks for the log jam in the NFC east and wild card.

You think the Redskins without RGIII can be the "red hot" Browns? Then go bet your money.

SF NE game turned from a rout to a bar burner! Race to the finish ... Go Niners!

Steelers looked dismal, Bears not much better ... Hopefully team #3 can win ...

NY Giants must of felt like General Sherman was leading the Falcons through Atlanta Stadium. It is amazing how this plays out the same every season for them, having a two to three game lead at Halloween vanquish by mid December. Now it's up to the play of others to determine their playoff outcome. Three-way tie with two to go. Reminds me I have to get to the liquor store by Saturday...

What a wild weekdend. Saw Philly implode on a case of the dropsies, the Pack finish continue the road to another division sweep, the Boys go clutch on a close one with the Stillers, and that amazing show in Foxbourough. The Niners def deserve the game but caught some massive breaks all through the first 3 quarters. The amazing thing to me was watching the pats close a 28 point gap all by long field drives, no short fields or breaks.

We both should have bet with your money. Silly me trying to give the sucky Browns any credit! I should have known better.

Just like I should have know the Stillers would have been extremely inconsistant this year!

You're not alone. I gave the Browns too much credit too. But who would have thought Cousins would come in and throw for 329yds and 2 tds????? Not me...... The wife was happy since he's a Sparty...... The daughter was happy because she thought he was cute since playing for State......

Heck, if the Bears could raise their game to dismal, I'd be OK. Only going to get worse, I fear.

Well, the Cowboys have won another they were expected to lose. Romo (20-25) was shooting bullseyes and another game winning play by Carr. Kinda balances the books for the ones they lost that they should have won. If Romo would do that every game and Murray were healthy for every game those guys would be a threat to any team.

It wouldn't have suprised you if you saw him during the preseason. There is reason why they let a seasoned QB go and kept the rookie as backup.

It (still) seems that the Pats have huge difficulties dealing with teams that have strong defenses. And when their offense is shut down, the defense cannot hold back the opposing team. A miraclulous comeback for sure, but probably all the more demoralizing that they lost in the end.

They probably lost the first round bye with that loss . . . the road to the Super Bowl will go through Houston or Denver . . .

Sure still seems like they are the team to beat in the AFC just because they have been there before.

Packers are the team to beat in the NFC since they "arguably" have the best QB.

You totally discounting the 49ers since they don't have anywhere close to the best QB? They whipped up on the Pats pretty well. It sure would be interesting to see them play the Packers in the playoffs.

Re: Nfl week 15

Not sure if I like Colin or Alex better leading the Niners ... I do think it stinks that Smith lost his job because of injury and not performance, I mean, he had a 70% completion percentage! But Kap does get the job done and, I believe, is a better down field passer. He has made a few rookie mistakes, but then so did the veteran Ben ... so as long as the Niners keep winning ....

And the Jets are just ugly! Sanchez has lost all confidence and is constantly looking over his shoulder. If I hadn't been playing with the daughter's dog I would have gone to bed long before the final whistle!

Ha...I knew you would comment. I think the 49ers are close to the Packers as well. They just seem like they are more beatable at times.

I always liked watching ColinK when he was at Nevada.

The odds makers currently have 49ers and Denver/NE in the Superbowl depending on what place you look at.

If Cousins is really that good, he probably won't stay a backup very long. Some other team will buy out his contract and make him a starter. Send him north!

49er's? Heck, the Vikings beat them....... Quite handily too.......

That would be great. I see a Green Bay/San Fran NFC champ game. Coin toss wins that game but loses tho whomever wins the New England/Denver AFC champ game in the Super Bowl.
