Looks like some exciting action this week.
Just got home from Lambeau and settling in to watch SportCenter and get all the details.

Took my nephew to his first Packer game, and what a game.

1125 yards of offense, 11 passing td's.

Had great seats and got to play with the new camera.

The first photo shows the great protection Flynn enjoyed most of the day.

Unfortunately, the second photo shows the same protection Stafford enjoyed.

Ravens #2 seed, AFC North CHAMPIONS! 1st round bye, at least one home game. The Ravens needed this in a big way!

Ray Rice is the man, 191 yds rushing!

Giants looked great and are hopefully peaking at the right time.
Cowboys looked pretty dejected nearing the end of the game.
Lions were unfortunate losers this week but could be a dark horse.
Just my thoughts though.

Re: NFL Week 17

skargo, now that they have actually won the AFC North, I will say, "good job Ravens." They certainly had to work for it against a decent Bungles team. And they certainly have an easier road to the Super Bowl than the Steelers. And the Steelers are all banged up. However,

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: NFL Week 17

Looks to me like the Packers better go buy a defense, or they will be out real quick.

At least we have 2 weeks to rest, and home field.

If nothing else, it will help the local economy.

And if it ever comes down to it, I would root for the devil himself before I could back the Ravens.
Will never forgive or forget what Modell did to Cleveland.

Yeah, I'm impressed with my new little pocket cam. Beats the heck out of my 8 years old Kodak.

These pics are all straight off the camera, no cropping, or enhancing.

Here is one from pregame, that shows its full zoom capability.

Seats were row 19, so mid field logo is about 170' away.

HAhahaha. Never heard it expressed quite like that before! But I did tell my son yesterday that even if it meant the Steelers would miss the playoffs, I would NEVER root for a Ravens win. My dream NFL season is the Steelers winning the Super Bowl, the Browns 2-14, and the Ravens 0-16. (You all should be able to figure out who the Browns beat to go 2-14!) ;)

I'm glad to see that the Detroit Lions are in the playoffs. . . they have not had much to cheer about in past years.

The lions/ packers was excellent. Congrats on the packers win, I wish the lions would have won to get a better seed and face the giants instead of the saints. Oh well were still in the playoffs, GO LIONS!

Looks like it'll be the Saints in the superbowl again.

I don't think any other team in the NFL has broken so many records in a single season.

Oh get over it, remember what Irsay did to Baltimore, AND Indy got to steal all the Colts records. At least Mister Modell, who got SCREWED by Cleveland let the records and uni stay in Cleveland.

No offense but you sound like either a Steelers fan or a butthurt Cleveland fan.

I will always pull for my Ravens, and I laugh at us getting a SB chapionship so quickly, while Cleveland still is mired in mediocrity.

Maybe do some research and see just how bad Cleveland screwed Art Modell over before ripping on us lifetime Baltimore football fans. I was 16 when the Colts rolled out of town and was devastated, but am smart enough to realize it was business, and I'm over it now.

Saints or Pack, although with their questionable defenses they may get some trouble.

The Steelers are in big trouble with Mendenhall out. I'd love to see the Tebows eliminate them!

Not worried about Mendenhall out ... he is our third best back, he just starts. Clark won't be able to play in Denver ... altitude sickness.

And of course you want to see Tebow work his magic on the Steelers ... cause you don't want to face us a 3rd time this year. Fear the beard!

I am a Bronco's fan and my wife is the craziest Steelers fan outside of PA, But thats ok I have no delusions about The Broncos chances against the Steelers and my wife and I will not watch the game together as she is the worst possible example of poor sportsmanship in US HISTORY!! Steelers win I hear about it for a year, Broncos win and I don't get lucky, either way I lose! I am a Tebow fan but I am one of the realists that know that while he is not the only one on the team, since he came into the lineup for whatever reason the team plays better with him as the starting QB, but even Joe Montana/John Elway/Enter great quarter Back here would fail with the horrible play calling of the last half of the season. Ultimately I am looking forward to next season as I think the Broncos have a bright future and the AFC West is looking at HUGE changes nest year so it should be exciting.

By the way, AFTER this weekend I can go back to backing my wifes Steelers to the Superbowl!!

I agree with your first statement 100%.

Your second statement is a little shaky. The Steelers could not defeat the Ravens twice in the regular season, I have no delusions that they could do it in the playoffs, in Baltimore, with all the injuries they have.

I do hold out hope that the Ravens will take a week off, for the 5th time this year, because that's the only way to explain their 4 losses to mediocre teams.

It is so funny how some people see things. Cleveland "screwed" Modell? Maybe after he "screwed" them for years. But the fact is true, all he needed to do was get out of Cleveland to win a Super Bowl. And that does bother many Browns fans, whose team hasn't even been to the playoffs since 2002!
