Nice one a few years back!

One day out on the lake I started getting a overheat horn. Was upset about this for two reasons,
1) Lost time on water
2) Just replaced the water pump a few months ago
Anyway... came back to ramp and put boat on trailer.
Stowed all the equip. and Went back of boat to strap her down and what do you think I found on the lower unit...MUFFS!!!!
What a dumba$$ I felt like. After a quick look around to see if anyone else noticed the Muffs on my lower unit... back down the ramp I go. Had a great rest of day on lake and haven't told anyone (until now) including the wife, about this. Lucky it was a weekday and not many boaters around to laugh at me! Anyone else done this before?

It would have been worse if the hose was still attached to the muffs.

Thats funny it reminds me of when i lived up north you always saw some one driving down the road with there block heater cord still pluged into the car when it got cold out.d

I have forgotten to put the plug in but left a muff on! NO, hvaen't done that yet!! (Knock on wood) and hope that it never happens to anyone of us.8)

hahahaha, it happens to everyone ...... at least once or twice ....
