I have a Nissan 18 4-stroke and have nothing but trouble. Had it for two seasons. First season, ran OK for about three or four outings, then the engine would not idle until hot. Took it to a local authorized service rep. They had it for three months and after repeated calling got it back after they changed the bi-starter. Next season, had it out twice, and now it will only start and idle, but stalls when power is applied. Still dont know whats wrong with it. I use the highest octane gas with startron and only new gas, Engine has never run right and forget trying to contact Nissan, you will get zero response. Once they sell an engine, you are on your own. Just go on their website and see if you can find a place to inquire about problems with a new engine. They will pass you to the local dealer, and you had better hope they are honest and professional.
