I have a 97 Nissan 40C on my 14' rigid bottom inflatable. Just replaced the fuel tank line hoping that would help but it didn't. My problem is that the motor stumbles/sputters on WOT during the hole shot to get it up onto a plane. Once on a plane it runs great with no misses or anything even at WOT. Spark plugs are new, leads look good, ran some seafoam in the gas a while ago, and motor has less than 100 hours on it. Happens whether warm or cold and about 80-90% of the time.

I not too familiar with working on outboards besides spark plugs and LU oil changes. I do work on my car a lot and would like to figure this out without taking it in and hopefully not having to rebuild the carb.

Clean that carb before you do anything else.
