Nissan 5hp two stroke - cylinder head torque?

replacing the head on a two stroke 5hp 2003 model Nissan. need to know the right torque for the bolts. thanks.

When you order the new head gasket, also order a factory service manual from your dealer. That will have the tightening sequence and torque values, and is a wise investment.

Paul, when ordering factory service manuals, you order by specific engine model ? If it's the general 2.5-40 HP 2 strokes manual, there's a bit of confussion as all head torque specs are not listed by model but rather bolt size, so will need to know which bolt size you are dealing with to provide proper head gasket torque..

The Part# 003-21035-1, $45.00, which covers all 1- and 2-cylinder 2-strokes, does in fact have the correct sequence and the proper torque. It also has a reference for general torque based on the bolt size. That is for non-critical fasteners.
